The Sensitivity Training course is designed to give healthcare workers the tools to promote interpersonal relationships to provide a safe and secure environment. Sensitivity Training focuses on making employees aware of their attitudes and how it may affect their behavior towards others.

  • To improve staff’s awareness of their actions and emotions associated with them.
  • Identify how we should handle patients in crisis.
  • Discuss what tools can help us gain patient trust.
  • Discuss effective communication.
  • Discuss how to resolve conflicts.
  • Utilize coping skills to care for self before caring for others.

 

Successful completion of the course requires:

O Attendance at the entire class.

O Successful participation in group activities.

O Promptness is REQUIRED.

  1. Onsite classes - We come to you!
  2. Private classes - Come to our facility! You schedule the date and time.

Replacement Cards 

Please call our office at 973-989-3213.  We will verify your information; and with payment, print and mail a duplicate card.  For BLS Healthcare Provider and Heartsaver CPR/AED and/or HeartSaver First Aid, replacement card cost is $10.00.  For ACLS and PALS replacement card cost is $15.00.
